Floor Sockets / Floor Boxes

In rooms and projects where standard wall sockets are not suitable a good alternative is utilising the floor space with Floor Sockets and Floor Boxes. Floor Sockets are versatile either with flap covers on flush sockets, or for the ultimate in functionality and look with the flap remaining closed when the sockets are plugged in, Recessed Floor Sockets and Floor Boxes. As floor sockets can be positioned anywhere on the floor space, trailing wires also become a thing of the past when you plug your electrical appliances, computers and telephones into sockets where they are, no longer restricted to wall socket positions.

So along with the metal switch finishes including Polished Chrome, Satin Chrome, Polished Brass, Old Bronze, we also offer a paintable finish that can be finished to any colour by you, or two colour match ranges, one to match Farrow & Ball paints and the other a general colour matching service, giving the absolutely perfect finish for your room. To match the finishes there is also the choice of black or white inserts eg electrical plug socket part.

Floor Sockets or Floor Boxes can be flexible too. Not only can they be installed in the floor, we have supplied these sockets to be installed on the wall too. We recently supplied a listed building and museum with floor sockets in our primed finish, then mounted into the skirting boards and painted over. With the socket flaps flush to the wall, the wall floor sockets simply blend in with the paint behind them and went unnoticed when not in use.
