Antique Copper
Antique Copper has a subtle brown streaked glaze applied over a brass plate. It is then rubbed down to give it the appearance of an aged plate. This ensures that every plate is individual and slightly different to stay true to the antique look.
To further enhance the appearance of the plate we can include a matching metal antiqued rocker switch to complete the look or alternatively we supply these with a simple Black plastic rocker.
Brushed Copper
Brushed Copper is available in our Screw-less range and has a brushed plate which has then had a lacquer applied to keep the plate looking pristine. This ensures that every plate is finished to the same standard and remains maintenance free.
The Brushed Copper plate gives a warm and non-reflective effect and is an ideal fit for contemporary interior designs.
To further enhance the appearance of the plate we include a matching metal rocker switch to complete the look.
Burnished Copper
Burnished Copper face plates have an Oily rag-rubbed distressed burnished finish, and this allows the natural patina of the plate to show through. These distressed Burnished Copper accessories have a unique look ideal for old style interiors.
Because of this process every plate will look different. Buying these plates is like buying natural stone flooring for example, every piece is unique and slightly different from the other.
Copper Bronze
Copper Bronze has a subtle brown Smoked finish that is consistent over the entire plate. It has the appearance of a plate between Bronze and Copper with a smoky orange bronze tinge to give this range a warm dusky finish.

Natural Copper

We then lightly polish them to reveal the beauty of the raw and natural metal finish that these materials possess.

Old Copper
Old Copper has a speckled worn look with slight flecks of grey running through it. This gives the appearance of a naturally worn effect which is uniform across the entire plate.
The plate is lacquered to protect the finish, and this adds a warm sheen to the overall look of the Old Copper face plates.
Polished Copper

Waxed Copper

The Waxed Copper range is actually made using a steel plate which has then been burnished by hand then waxed to give it the waxed copper effect. This plate naturally ages and the appearance of the plate changes over time.

Weathered copper is a verdigris style finish that is individual applied to each plate so they are all unique, matching the effects of the natural weathering process.
As a finish weathered copper can be paired with other colours to create different feelings, cooler like soft blues and greys for calm, warmer tones, pale yellows and beiges to create a earthy summer feel, and even brighter colours like whites, to create a fresh more vibrant feel.
