What is a Fan Controller?
Fan Controllers are used to control the speed of ceiling sweep fans that have an output rating of no more than 250w.
They are similar too and work similarly as a dimmer switch would however they are very different and you must not use a dimmer switch to control a fan or visa versa.
We recommend 25mm deep wall boxes for mounting our Fan Controllers or 35mm deep wall boxes for shallow or flat plate ranges.
