What is a Intelligent LED Dimmer?
Our Intelligent LED Dimmer range takes some of the mystery out of choosing the correct dimmer. Not only designed to operate on ALL types of Dimmable LED lamps and strips, these dimmers can be changed to become leading edge dimmers adapting to the type of load put through them, operating standard incandescent lamps as well as mains halogen lamps and low voltage halogen lamps.
Important - non-dimmable LED lamps cannot be dimmed. Should you fit a dimmer to non-dimmable LED’s then damage to the dimmer, lamps or both will occur.
For all types of lighting please exceed the minimum wattage load and stay below the maximum wattage for effective operation. In the case of halogen lamps and capsules the dimmers must be over-rated by at least 25%. GU10, G9 and GZ10 halogen lamps and capsules tend to arc in the latter part of their life. This is not dangerous in any way and is a characteristic of halogen lamps. This arcing creates an additional load on the dimmer and can overload the module resulting in excess heat and premature failure. The first indication of this happening is an increase in noise, often heard as a buzz from the dimmer switch. It is important to note that all quality branded halogen capsules incorporate a fused link to protect the circuit in case of a short within the lamp. Non-branded cheap generic halogen lamps do not have this function and should be avoided.
Never mix lighting types through the same dimmer on the same circuit. For example if you have 3 halogen bulbs and 3 LED bulbs fitted in the same room on the same switch you cannot replace that switch with a dimmer unless you remove either the halogen lamps or the LEDs. If you were to fit a dimmer in these circumstances then damage to the dimmer, lamps or both will occur.
On special request we can make up combined dimmers that incorporate intelligent LED dimmers and push light switches so the look of all the dimmers / switches match on the same plate if required.
We recommend 25mm deep wall boxes for mounting our LED dimmer switches or 35mm deep wall boxes for shallow or flat plate ranges.

Was pleased with both the product and the service. The product was finished in the antique pewter which was accurate in its description. I was surprised how slim it was its nearly flat. I like not seeing any screws plus hardley any plastic visable. The delivery took about a week however i did place a sizable order which arrived complete so very satisfied with this sale. I recommend this screw-free range which looks really nice once the workmen have vacated the house and I can sit back to admire the handywork.

A no fuss purchase that was delivered pretty quickly. I had the USB Sockets and they work as they should. I particularly like the fact the switch part of the socket doesnt have any plastic bits around it. The Antique copper finish is subtle and the metal socket is slimmer than I thought so I am pleased with the way these sockets look now that they are installed.
