What is a Shaver Socket?
The shaver sockets that we sell are all fitted with an internal transformer. Only this type can be fitted in a bathroom as the transformer isolates the supply from the mains making it safer and suitable for bathroom use.
Our shaver sockets are duel voltage and have two 2 pin outlets on the faceplate enabling them to operate within two voltage ranges 220/240v (UK Ireland & specific countries worldwide) or 110/120v (USA & specific countries worldwide).
Our shaver Sockets have an earth terminal as well as live and neutral terminals and these terminals will accept 2 x 1.5mm Twin & Earth Cables.
We recommend 47mm deep wall boxes for mounting our Shaver Sockets.
We can also supply single sized Shaver Sockets on request.

Never heard of painting sockets before the interior design magazine featured them so I came straight on here to buy them and they are such a good idea. I used the handy help guide on your website to help me through it but iot was pretty simple. I used a roller and it took me exactly 5 minutes to do 10 sockets - simple.

The plates come off so they are easy to paint - I had no trouble with these and they look fantastic once they dry out. Ready primed I just used ordinary emulsion. Higly recommend.

These primed switches are of the highest quality and are almost invisible after I painted them over. These are a great idea and Im so glad I spent the extra money on them.
